GREENVILLE, S.C. – Outside hitter Brittany Tepedino and libero Elizabeth Yohe of the Converse College volleyball team were selected to the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball All-Conference Team as announced by the league on Saturday, November 23. Both Tepedino and Yohe were named to the third team.
Tepedino, a junior from Greenville, S.C., put together a prolific season offensively for the Valkyries. She was able to lead the Purple and Gold in several categories, including kills (362), kills per set (2.99), and total attempts (1,213). Her 364 digs were second on the team. Tepedino's kills and total attempts were also first in the conference while kills per set and digs ranked her in the top-10 for the league.
Yohe, a sophomore from Summerville, S.C., anchored what was a stingy defense for the Vals, collecting team-highs in digs (530) and digs per set (4.82). These totals were also good enough for first and fourth in the conference, respectively.
