Tennis Drops Hard Fought Contest to Emmanuel

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse College (10-9, 4-6 CC) tennis team put up a valiant effort against conference-leading Emmanuel (12-8, 9-1 CC) on Tuesday afternoon, but fell by the score of 5-2. Pauline Hagen defeated Pearllan Cipriano in the No. 2 singles while Valentina Aparicio took down Katharina Kiderlen in the No. 6 singles flight for the Valkyries two wins on the day.

Converse will be back on the courts on Thursday, April 18, hosting the Bulldogs of Barton College in the regular season finale. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m.
