Tennis Picks Up First Conference Win Over Southern Wesleyan

CENTRAL, S.C. – The Converse College (7-5, 1-2 CC) tennis team snapped a three-game slide on Wednesday afternoon, sweeping Southern Wesleyan (1-7, 0-2 CC) by the final of 7-0 at the Rev. Leroy C. Cox Tennis Complex. Maria Belen Vendrell claimed the match at the No. 3 singles, defeating Kristi Cooper in straight sets (6-0, 6-1).
