SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse College tennis team fell to Mount Olive on Saturday afternoon by the score of 8-1. The Trojans swept the doubles competition before taking five of six in the singles event. Kaitlin Knight took care of Nicole La Chappelle (6-4, 7-6) to earn the only win on the day for the Valkyries. Prior to the contest, head coach Katie Mancebo honored Knight, Abby Roth, Alex Schlesener, and Carlie Peeler for their contributions to the Converse tennis program during their time with the Purple and Gold.
