CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Valkyries finished strong on the final day of the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships by finishing sixth, moving up four spots. The Valkyries finished with 386 points.

200 Medley Relay
The Valkyries finished eighth overall in the event with a time of 1:50.74. The squad of Laura Ann Dixon, Anna Pettus, Sarah Russell, and Hannah Asselin dropped three seconds off their previous best and just off the school record of 1:48.44 set back in 2013.
400 Medley Relay
The Relay squad of Laura Ann Dixon, Anna Pettus, Sarah Russell and Hannah Taber finished sixth overall with a time of 4:02.66.
200 Freestyle Relay
Hannah Asselin, Ellie Michael, Hannah Dickinson, and Hannah Taber finished with a time of 1:42.95. The relay dropped nearly two seconds off their in-season best.
400 Freestyle Relay
Converse finished seventh overall in the relay. Hannah Asselin, Laura Ann Dixon, Sarah Russell and Hannah Taber finished with a time of 3:39.78.
800 Free Relay
Laura Ann Dixon, Lisa Studstill, Hannah Asselin, and Sarah Russell touched the wall for an in-season best time of 8:03.16. The relay finished eighth overall.
50 Freestyle
Hannah Asselin finished with a time of 25.76 jumping into the all-time top ten.
100 Freestyle
Hannah Taber dropped her personal best time moving up the ranks in the all-time top ten. Taber finished with a time of 54.37.
200 Freestyle
Hannah Taber and Hannah Asselin finished with times of 2:01.49 and 2:01.90 respectively.
500 Freestyle
Julia Campbell finished first for the Valkyries with a time of 5:40.56 dropping 16 seconds off her personal bests.
1000 Free
Julia Campbell led the Valkyries in the event with a time of 11:47.70. Marianna Markley touched the wall behind Campbell at 11:50.15 with Kendall Polk at 11:53.86.
Kathy Herman finished with a time of 12:15.14.
The group dropped a combined 2:51 off their times with all four going in-season bests.
1650 Freestyle
Kendall Polk finished 15th with teammate Marianna Markley finished behind Polk. Polk finished with a time of 19:51.76 and Markley finished with a time of 20:03.89.
200 IM
Laura Ann Dixon finished 19th overall while dropping nearly two seconds off her in-season best with a time of 2:10.74. Dixon qualified during the prelims with a time of 2:12.18.
Anna Pettus and Cassidy Rindge finished with times of 2:17.90 and 2:18.59 respectively.
400 IM
Laura Ann Dixon finished 11th overall with a time of 4:40.87. Cassidy Rindge dropped five seconds off her personal best with a time of 4:55.56.
100 Butterfly
Sarah Russell finished 12th overall with a time of 56.69.
200 Butterfly
Laura Ann Dixon was just off her personal best time in the event with a time of 2:08.62. Sarah Russell finished behind Dixon to post the third best time in program history with a time of 2:10.11.
100 Breaststroke
Anna Pettus finished with a time of 1:09.12 to crack the all-time top ten.
200 Breaststroke
Anna Pettus posted an all-time top ten time in the event with touching the wall at 2:28.78. Cassidy Rindge dropped her personal best with a time of 2:38.44 moving up the list as well.
100 Backstroke
Lisa Studstill and Hannah Dickinson finished for the Valkyries with a time of 1:01.68 and 1:01.96 respectively. Both times crack the all-time top ten.
200 Backstroke
Lisa Studstill and Hannah Dickinson post all-time top ten times with times of 2:14.99 and 2:18.27 respectively.
