SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse College equestrian team has joined teamed with the Spartanburg Humane Society to raise donations for this coming holiday season.
The team has established a wish list of several items that can be donated in an attempt to help take care of the many animals who, for now, call the humane society home. There will be a competition amongst all donators and the party that brings the most donations will be rewarded with pony rides, compliments of the equestrian team.
Also, the team would like to invite all who are interested to attend its fundraising booth (Converse Equestrian's Happy Pawlidays) at a Dickens of a Christmas on Tuesday, November 27 from 6-9 p.m. Along with the booth there will be a puppy kissing booth, dog treats, and dogs for adoption, with all proceeds going directly to Spartanburg Humane Society.
