SAVANNAH, GA. - Converse Equestrian rider, Heather McCrary, placed eighth in the Zone 5 Finals in the Walk/Trot Class on April 2 at the Equestrian Center hosted by Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
A total of 10 riders comprised Heather's class with two riders each from the five Regions in Zone 5. McCrary qualified for the Zone Show by winning her class during the Regional Show held at the College of Charleston on March 5th. McCrary was one of the two riders to advance from Zone 5.
Zone 5 is comprised of schools in the southeast region such as: Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, LSU, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Coastal Carolina, Barry University, College of Charleston, Georgia Southern, Middle Tennessee, SCAD and The University of the South. The top two finishers in each class advance to Nationals along with the highest scoring team.
