SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse College Athletics Department will be hosting a Hurricane Dorian Disaster Relief Drive on Saturday, September 14 during the Valkyries home soccer match versus Mount Olive.
In an effort to provide relief to the victims of Hurricane Dorian, fans are encouraged to bring certain items to aid the drive. In exchange for their donations fans will receive free admission into the contest.
The following items are requested:
- Cases of water
- At least five non-perishable food items
- Cat and dog food
In addition to these items, fans can also make monetary donations at the gate. All proceeds will be given to the local Spartanburg American Red Cross.
