SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Several members of the Converse College Athletic Department attended Jesse Boyd Elementary School on Friday, September 7 to celebrate National College Colors Day.
National College Colors Day, founded by the College Licensing Company in 2004, is the Friday before Labor Day across the United States where students, parents, family and fans display their team spirit by wearing their favorite team colors.
Student-athletes from Converse College, including the Val the mascot, joined together with students from Jesse Boyd Elementary School to eat lunch, talk, and laugh in support of this fun-filled day.
