HIGH POINT, N.C.-- Conference Carolinas announced the student-athletes named to the Presidential Honor Roll for Spring 2016. All Conference Carolinas institutions emphasize a commitment to the classroom and the idea of "Academics and Athletics Working Together."
Each semester this recognition is given to student-athletes who achieve a grade point average of 3.2 of higher on the 4-point scale. All student-athletes, including underclassmen, transfers, and those who play non-conference sports, are eligible for the recognition as long as they have participated in a sport for the semester in question.
Converse posted the highest total to date for the Valkyries with 79 student-athletes. Soccer brought in the top total with 28 student-athletes. The Valkyries golf team posted nine student-athletes for the top percentange.
Swimming (8), Equestrian (7), Volleyball (6), Lacrosse (5), Track & Field/Cross Country (5), Softball (4), Tennis (3), and Basketball (2).
